I am trying to organise a show. I have found that people don't seem to look in the event area for long term planning. I have also posted it in the calender as well.

I have to say I am as bad. I will only look for things that are happening in the next week or so. Human nature I suppose with our busy lives.

It would help I suppose if the old meet threads were deleted so only up to date stuff was listed.

I think a simple list with all the events local and national in order.

When I finaly get my car on teh road I would like to visit some other meets, but I have to plan at least 3 months in advance. Its just too much agro clicking through the calender or the pages of each region.

I just noticed something - if you troll over to http://www.zclub.net/forum/index.php and then scroll down to their "What's Going On" section, underneath Today's Birthdays (like we've got) there is an Upcoming Events list which I guess is taken automatically from the Calendar.

Could we do this here and would it help?
