Howdy, what is a good performance air filter for a 300ZX TT? My zed is chipped and has boost controller. Standard air filter is nightmare to refit so i might as well get a custom jobbie.

£90 for Apexi kit for 300zx.. seems almost too cheap. Where does the lead for the air filter sensor plug into? When i crashed my zed 18 months ago i had to unplug that as i had an intercooler leak. The zed was barely driveable with the air filter sensor thingy plugged in.

You still keep the maf which the big plug connects to, car will overfuel massivly and run in saftey mode without it connected. The only thing about the apexi or any cone type filter is make a splash guard or your maf may get wet and burn out.

the Apexi (as all filters) will plug into the MAF - the lead plugs into the MAF not the filter. i have one too and theyre a super piece of kit. make sure you get a 300ZX-specific one though and not a 'universal' one :nono:

I have a brand new Greddy twin cone set up for sale.

it comes off the Afm enabling 2 filters to be fitted which is part of the kit, they are Greddy mushroom filters. I think the pipework is cast.

And is brand new never fitted.
