    Millions of viewers have also enjoyed the clash of cultures and the 1970s outfits, cars and music on the show, which comes from the makers of Hustle and Spooks.

     

     

    An average of 6.8 million viewers tuned into the first series, which won an international Emmy for best drama series, and a spin-off, Ashes to Ashes, set in the 1980s and again starring Glenister is already planned.
