Right at the Mo i can upgrade my phone with orange, this has been going on for about 7 weeks, the phone i want is out of stock Nokia5500,so they have offered me an amazing deal to keep me with orange, but this can't start till i get the phone off them as well, and they can't say when they'll be getting them in?????.

So if you have two mins could you cast your eyes over the phones that are available to me and recomend one and why or which will have a good sell on value as i hope to get a 5500 off e-bay.

I just got a nokia N95 on orange, amazing phone!

 

I went into the shop said I want a N95, on the £35 and above tariffs they are £89, and they give you £100 cashback for an old phone!

 

They also give 10% discount for fire service personnel on the monthly tariff!

 

Take out an 18 month contract and you get free broadband (you have to keep bt line rental £10.75), pay an extra fiver on that and you get free calls from your landline and international calls, plus a free wireless router, their broadband is criticised though!

 

I believe they have just made a promise to do as good a deal to their current customers as to their new ones so just start ranting if they don't offer you something you want?

due to the length of time i've had to wait for them to get the phone in but they still don't know when it will be so thuoght about just getting a phone off them to start the tariff, Orange direct not the shop just looke dand thats out of stock too :(

also got the n95 for my lad on an upgrade, do you know how to activate the sat nav m8? or do you have to subscribe to the maps etc?

the disc it came with does have a link to loads of websites, BUT they all look like you have to pay to me?

it isnt that important, i cant see him wanting the sat nav to find his way round school :nelson:

 

my idea of a phone is summat you make calls on, and to answer and hang up lol, just wondered if it was something simple id missed
