Hi, all. I recently posted that I was looking for a repair kit for my brake master cylinder. I now know where to get one (thankyou for the replies), and I've even been offered a replacement for the entire bmc (thankyou again). Before I buy one or the other (or both!), can anyone tell me if I am doing the right thing? The brake fluid seems to be leaking out from where the bmc mates with the booster....does this mean it IS something leaking in the bmc, or should there be a gasket between the bmc and the booster (there isn't one there at the mo - could it have rotted away?)? I'm assuming the seal at the end of the bmc is perishing, but I've had a look at it and it looks like new...

Would appreciate any thoughts on the matter!

you can either buy a replacment seal kit from MJP or replace the cylinder itself, and it will only be the BMC as the booster is servo/air not fluid.

Thanks... That's what I thought, but I didn't want to get a kit/replacement bmc , and then find the booster and bmc shared fluid or anything...
