I don't have a second car and I think I need one. I looked at the answers you all gave to my 'Do you have a 2nd car?' thread, but got no inspiration.

I need a reliable 4 seater for when I pick up my kids once a fortnight, the rest of the time it can be a bit of fun. Only want to spend a grand on it - as it's just a run around.

I was thinking maybe a Suzuki swift Gti or a Peugeot 205 1.9 Gti

Waddya think? any other suggestions?

Suzuki Swift GTi is cool. I think they are great, but the Toyota Carina GTi is better! cheap, spacious, fast, very reliable. I had one a while back, cost £450!

hmm i drove a swift, thought it was abit umm naff lol, I would go for a honda civic or a rover with the honda engine in, good on fuel and quick

Ive had 2 Swift GTi and they where bang for bucks hands down better than anything mentioned. Weighs fook all, cheap insurance group, Light, and if you put the right size tyres on them, you got a go kart.

And I regularly remember blowing afor mentioend hot hatches off teh road. Fine on a strait, but they just couldnt keep up on the twisties.

me and lesley have just bought one of these she picks it up on friday, she took it out for a test drive and she loved it, i just carnt wait to get in it to see what it can do, it has really good saftey on it, (12 airbags) you carnt beat that.

in my eyes a good car.

2 words describe these cars.
