My car has cruise control, which doesnt work.

When the cruise button on the right hand "bank" of controls is pressed the system engages, well the light comes on and "cruise" is illuminated.

However it doesnt seem to responsd to set, resume etc etc....

So to cut a long story short, i noticed that the edge of the top of the steering wheel trim was loose, i figure no worries just pop that back in. On taking the cover of the steering wheel of i noticed that the cruise buttons wernt plugged into anything, furthur more the connector for them to plug into has gone (you can all see where this is going....)

Where should it be? Is it possible its dropped down the steering column?

(the horn has also been moved on my Zed, to the top of the steering column)

Are there any reasons for this move? Seems strange to me. Unless at some stage its had a non standard steering wheel on, and never been reconnected. What do you think?
