Wife has been complaining about smell of fuel inside car since it was serviced on Thursday, found fuel pi**ing from the black housing on the top of the engine. I am guessing this is the filter, I think the rocket that changed the filter has overtightened the lid, am I right in saying it twists off as I have tried to loosen it and its solid....just in case I break anything.

The lid I am thinking has the green plug connected to it in the picture.

The car is an 03 plate 2.0 HDi.

You might wanna post up the year of the vehicle incase someone has one or knows someone with a haynes manual for it.

 

Bit of a long shot posting it on here tho matey. Worth a try I suppose :)

No worries.....will update it. I dont wanna break it as the car is off the road then and her indoors needs it for work.
