hi all finally got round to putting in my dvd player and cant get my rear speakers to work, on the block (body harness) for the rear speakers its got 5 wires but on the connecter from the ico cable theres only four wires, my fronts work no matter what please help as gettin vry p*ssed off lol

You have to do a bit of a rewire because the back speakers have an amplifier which, when disconnect from the BOSE stereo, stops working.

Try using search to see if you can find anything about it

connect the spare wire on the car loom (amp power)to the switched remote out of the headunit.

 

some headunits just have one switched out to do remote amps and electric ariel, some have seperate ones for amps and ariel

Dont worry mate. That caught me out too. The amp is located in the boot. Looking into the boot, its near the right hand shocker so you will need to remove some of the trim to get to it.

A-ha, that'll be the problem that I've had too then!! I just couldn't be bothered to ask yet as I'm not using the car yet.
