I have windows xp running windows media player and itunes for my ipod.

I want to play DVDs on my ipod.

So I guess I have to copy the dvds onto my harddrive via windows media player, then onto the ipod via itunes ? I'm also guessing I need to install a dvd decoder?

Any help on this whole process would be appreciated.

Thanks

Before you can copy a dvd onto your ipod, you first have to convert it to ipod (mpeg4 / .mp4 ) format. I use 'cucusoft', but their are a number of similar dvd-to-ipod converters available. Once the dvd is in mpeg4 format, you simply just use itunes to import and drag the file onto your docked ipod.
