Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a baby seat on the back seat of a 2+2 300ZX. There are only lap seat belts as standard, and apparently you need a diagonal chest belt for a baby seat. I havn't got babies by the way, its for a friend (likely story !!!!)

Series II's have three point belts in the rear. Maybe you, ooops - I mean your friend, could fit later belts.

only the imports have lap belts in the back.

 

maybe you could swap them over with one of your other cars/breakers ?

I'd sell the z if i were you youll never afford to have babies and run a z!!!!!!!

Oi! I think the Zed is a great family car. I'm a mum and the Zed definatly takes time off the school run

My son thinks his Mum's got the coolest car in the world,he loves showing off to his mates, especially when I have a better faster car than their parents

Also those back seets were certainly made for little bums

Ahhh, the old family saloon Nissan 300zx!! About three weeks ago i managed to squeeze in (including myself) 6 bodies for a short trip to Coventry. 2 x teenage sons, 1 x 9 year old daughter, my ride... sorry i meant girlfriend and her 4 year old son!! highly questionable i know, it was either that or be seen in an Astra Diesel Estate. Anyone got any new springs and dampers?

A lot of child seats will attach using a lap belt only. (intended for the middle seat location in a saloon car)

Otherwise, you can easily swap over a UK spec rear belt.Apparently the fixing holes are already there behind the trim.The back of the interior trim is even marked with where to drill the holes through.I haven't tried this though.
