Iv recently had the dreaded leaking targa syndrome......

whenever i get into the car the seats are wet and a bit of the front carpet but today i decided to check the back of the car late at night as i had some stuff in the back which needed clearing up..... (i had washed the car in the morning)

The rear carpets were drenched and really wet......how can this be?

The rear seats were as dry as can be.......the heater matrix was only replaced in december so its defianetly not that......even then only the front carpets were affected from the leak

Any help would be appreciated as im starting to get worried im gonna start getting soggy carpet syndrome

I got the exact same problem. Word to word. Never got time though to have a close look on where its coming from. So until I do, I've locked it in the garage. Do let us know when you have located the root to the problem Fas. ;)

What have I told you."STOP PI$$IN IN THE WARDROBE" ;)

Have you made sure the rear drain holes are clear and connected behind the panels ok?

Vijay

i got a tube of rubber sealant from halfrauds and emptied half the tube into the gap under the rubber right above the top corner of the A-pillar. worked a treat, although i darent take my targa off now for fear of it going back to being an incontinent old man again :headvswal
