Was over at Leon's today looking at a few things for the V8 conversion. He had this Chevron historic racecar in his workshop. Its running a 900bhp yank V8 and Leon was just finishing off the new exhaust system. Its a proper work of art, made in 321 stainless which is a bugger to work with. Apparently there is 200 hours work in them!!

Internal view of collectors, notice the peak to ensure minimal flow disturbance as the streams join, very few people will go to those lengths.

Oddly enough, got an exhaust bypass valve to go on mine. Will bypass the silencer to an open tailpipe past about 4000rpm and > 1/2 throttle so might need them just for that yet!

LMAO! TBH, I don't know what's keeping us...it's almost as if we've taken on a conversion which requires not only lots of meticulous planning but lots of custom fabricated parts...frankly it should have been finished months ago...er....hang on...oh bugger. Lol! ;)
