Do we have a committe any more? I only ask as they seem to be AFK, I site winning teh 05 xmas raffle and the 6 months of nothing happening as a prime example.

As for, you've been complaining about it for 6 months, I recived the first PM from yourself just before Christmas. I have answered all you PM's never ignoring you once. I agree with Chris on this one, if he told you about it before Christmas 2006 shouldn't it have been sorted by now? We need to keep our long serving m8's happy not lose them by treating them with disrespect.

why does this clubs committee get such a hard time exactly?

 

this is a not for profit organisation and the committee do this out of the good of their heart and in their spare time for us the members.

 

If things go amiss thats life, im sure the committee do the best within the time they have to devote to the club.

 

it just seems everyone is always jumping on their backs, its up to ALL members to make this club work and we should work together to achieve our goals???

1st msg I gave to a committee member about the xmas raffle was in August. so more than 6 months. was past over to someone else. cant rem who, it was yonks ago, dont realy care realy, that fact remains its been more than a few months either way ffs

Yeah...... like ****!!! So what its a xmas raffle prize! Took 8 months to complain about in the first place which no doubt makes the task of sorting the matter out a lot harder... If you lot aren't carefull then there won't even be any raffles/events in the future if al that happens is people whinging that they haven't got this/that/t'other...

personally i would say no they are not here " to carry the can"

 

if all this goes back to a raffle prize in 05 fair dos it would have been better being resolved by now but im sure that there are reasons involved not known by7 other members

 

however im sorry but maybe the committee should indeed have dealt with the matter in a better fashion however people on here seem to forget that this club is run by members who like me and you have commitments and responsibilties and frankly get a lot of stick. In an ideal world everything would run smoothly.

 

This is not an ideal world and personally and no disrespect to anyone on here, this thread was raised to get a reaction.

 

It just seems the majority of people on here seem to think they could do a better job and when public outlashes are made at the committee i can personally understand why they might start to feel a little disheartened.

Nah i think for a voluntary position the commitee do a great job, they don't get paid to do this so if replies have been sent out as soon they have a message then the communication isn't a problem just a problem with some resolution on the raffle but no need to blow it all out of proportion.

 

A simple post to ask what's happening with the raffle prize would surfice not a half page epic slating the club again otherwise all the bandwagon jumpers get excited and start blaming the nuclear holocost on the committee, poor guys lol

well i blame the bleeding commitee for my clutch going and i want reimbursing, flaming commitee should be in the Ts & Cs they should be responsible for maintaining our Zeds!! lol
