Hi all,

bought my 300 last week and so far so good. Only one issue i was hoping someone might be able to help me with. The car came with a turbo timer but for some reason the guy i bought it off had disconnected it. Some of the wires are still connected but there are 3 which are part ofa 3pin connector that arent connected up to the female connector. I have had a look for the other connector it would go into but cant find it. Not sure if anyone will be able to help me but was hoping they might as it does my bloody head in sitting in the car for 1-2 minutes after driving it.

Also the turbo timer is fitted on the left side of the steering wheel, but the wires and connector go to the right side, so im guessing that the connector required is under the ignition somewhere.

Cheers

cheers martin.

Just annoys me that it has obviously been unplugged properly as opposed to being ripped out, and i cant find the other end. Its so annoying that it is probably sitting just out of my view smiling at me.

But i dont like reaching into wires blindly incase i unplug something i cant see and therefor cant fix.

Thanks for the manual.

If it's like the Blitz one I had it will be behind the ignition barrel in the steering column or the panel below that :)

was it a 3 pin plug??

2 pins horizontally and 1 vertically??

sorry if this is all a bit vague, it might just be a bought connector crimped onto the wires that came off the turbo timer. Think if its light enough tomorrow then i will have to have another look.

I think it was a 3 pin thing. I had to unplug 2 connectors and plug the Blitz one in between so it T'd in I think.

Years since I did it though.

The turbo timer was taken out cause it had broken. It would not shut off, ie run for ever. Auto electrician could not fix so it was removed.

i did wonder why someone would want to remove it if it was working perfectly. Oh well, looks like i will go down the apexi avc-r route instead.
