Hellooooooooooooo :)

'lo to the new folks and the old ;)

Long time to see. How you doing these days ?

Has it really been nearly 18 months since I posted here? Heck.. Well since then I've become gainfully employed again (finally!) - been working for F5 Networks down in Chertsey since October '05 now..

Not a bad job - and the advantage of working for an American company is travel (so far it's seen me go to Seattle for a fortnight, I'm due to be going to Tel Aviv in a few months and then Palm Beach for our ISC in October), and since I started I've gone from second line support to a specialised escalations engineer between support & development.

I still haven't managed to save up enough money to fix the Z, but at least I'm just about financially out of the worst of it - as long as the tax man doesn't come up with any more surprises (or my ex- accountants for that matter, who managed to fleece me of £750 in December and still leave everything to go overdue before filing it, the gits).

How're things going for you Andy?

At least 3 years I reckon - I got the MR2 in late '03 and it's been laid up since then..

Jeez that's depressing!

I keep intending it to be a 'summer project', but then summer comes and goes and I never have the cash.. bah - damn debts, sucking me dry (and not in a good way, fnarr!). Maybe this year ;)

Not much changed for me, still in the same place, same job, still got the Z, although it's been relegated to an occasional car now that I do tons of miles in a diesel Xantia ! However, there is a tentative Xantia replacement plan which involves a similarly sensible car but with about the same torque as a Z !

Save us from the old farts that think they because they have all the experience they know it all  us newer guys are like teenagers and we do know everthing cos we invented it

Just thought, doesn't the word Duff mean useless
