Used to live in Scotland with a 'mate' of mine - cut a long story short - we fell out and I moved to Southampton.... not seen her since (summer of (2004)

 

She has just sent a text saying:

 

'Hey Peas (nick name by the way) , long time no hear. wanted to ask you if you wanted to meet up in london on monday. Know you have work, but I have a modelling thing that I can take a friend along to and we get pampered for the day with no cost except if you want to buy the photo's they take. Sorry its short notice! x miss ya x'

 

So do i hop on the train and spend like £50 to go see her and get flaffed about by other people... and be £50 poorer

 

or sod it and work and be £50 richer than I would of been if i went ....

Having said that she might really want to catch up with you...after all life is too short..

Two of my old neighbours (female) went on one of these so called pampering photoshoots.. cost them £150 each and what they each got for that was 2 x A4 size photos and 15 slides and a slide viewer..

They got dressed up and made up to the extent it didn't even look like them in the photo... Lol....... :slap:

But they had fun on the day and they didn't have to buy the photo's.. so if you fancy it knock yourself out and who knows you might re-kindle that friendship..

hey im just playing devils advocate, text her back and ask her how she is doing, if it wasnt intended for you it may still be the ice breaker you need, you obviousely miss her so you may aswell try
