I say off here cos I only seem to use this site and it started to happen after I opened a thread.

nope not had any! i use ntl's own firewall virus guard. its very basic but does the job. and its FREE

I don't get any pop-ups. We don't do anything on here that does pop-ups. However, if you follow links to other sites then you should be on your guard as normal.

Yes, as soon as I tried to save a pic from a thread the pop ups started, but its a bit more than pop ups, its whole new pages opening.

 

And yes Miss Pie some are adult sites, but not of my own doing this time.

could do a sytem restore to the day before you opened that pic, but any other data that you saved after opening will be lost

Well saying all that above, I have been on now for a while and nothing so heres hopeing.

Well just spen ta couple of hours going through the pc and found loads, lets hope thats the end of it.

 

The worse one is a trojan that downloads other trojans for you

do a vius scan. a few good free ones out there.

download spyware blaster (http://www.download.com) and keep that up to date

 

that should kill most of them buddy

I have put spybot on this morning but I can't find a registry cleaner anywhere for free (I'm tight) and things are just getting worse now, the longer I am online the more get downloaded, even if I just stayon googles home page :cry:
