I know some of you have had the problem with the sender unit on the underside of the gearbox - ie. it screws up the power steering, and brings in some sort of limit when driving hard - maybe a rev limit at about 5500 ?

Anyway, do you know if the english sender unit will fit on a Jap box the car is a 91 TT

I think a UK part will work OK (as it is possible to interchange Jap and UK speedo). You could ring Mike at MJP to confirm whether there is any difference in the part numbers.
