Hang on a minute, back in the cold war days, weren't we all worried about the all the dust from the nukes causing the "Nuclear Winter"? And now we're worried about global warming? Isn't the cure obvious? Bang off a few nukes in the right place = stop global warming and, if you choose the right place(s), a considerable enhancement to world peace and security :D

Sounds perfectly acceptable to me :wack: Aside, perhaps, from the "How much is too much?" issue...There's not exactly an existing precedent on record (aside from non-nuclear muted grumblings about impact events, volcanoes, ash in the atmosphere and a small matter of an Ice Age. Not sure I'd fancy a metaphorical high wire act balancing a couple of thermo-nuclear war-heads. With the loss of civilization as we know as the downside. And no saftey net. :D ;)
