Anyone been caught by these yet?

I put my foot down to fly off from this nob tailgating me on monday night and didn't realise the road is peppered with SPECS cameras.

I never speed and i had 3 points taken off last year so wasn't looking to get any more back on my licence.

I know there's a few of you in Notts so any of you been naughty and flown through that section before?

been through at 40mph in a mates car and he heard nothing.

they are average spped cameras so should be ok as long as you slowed down again quickish

Oh well, i'm preparing for a ban

i think it was a 30 and i know i probably topped 50/60 then braked but can't remember how far i'd gone before i braked. just hope i got away with it

I lived there for years and was always very wary of them.

My mate was done by them.

Touch wood, you'll be lucky - but the next two weeks waiting to see won't be fun.

nope, last thing i needed to worry about right now as well :(

My own stupid fault though

I've thought I've been nicked by loads of speed cameras - including those very ones. But the letters have never appeared.

Touch wood mate, you'll be ok.

They have installed them on the M1 this week between Junctions 34 - 30, *******s.

Coonts - Specs are the avenging angel of speed cameras. If you're in their area the only option is to stick to the speed limits.

Here you go bantam.

Found this site

http://www.abd.org.uk/specs.htm

At least it explains some stuff.

Hope you get away with it.

lol, found this site this morning when i was looking for maps of where they were.

i would have never put my foot down if i knew they were there.

I've driven that road so many times as well :(

You didn't happen to change lane then?

Thats interesting news that you can do that and not perhaps get caught.

I see people doing stupid speed through them on the M1 at the moment.

They must know something we don't. I stick to the limit.

2 reasons

Don't want to get points.

Not nice for the workers to have people screaming by.

Not a job I would want to do.
