Got me a Jap 2+2 TT

Owned the car for a lil over 10 years was my dads at 1st ...

So far i fitted her with t28 BB turbos , JE forged pistons , the stock tommy kaira intercoolers . for engine management i have a couple JDM tuned ecus the tommy kaira, Impul, SPL and a kakimoto also got a JWT ecu as well also dual 3in exaust with no cats , ACT street clutch and Heavy duty PP and a fidanza flywheel...

running 12psi she produces approx 290WHP and 278ft/lbs torque (dynoed with impul brain) ...everything else is stock....

 

do these numbers sound healthy and what mods should i do to maximize the mods i already have ????

what 1/4 mile u think she'll put down ...been wanting to take her to the track but the government closed it down to build a factory :rant:

Hi mate i recon you can run a little more boost with them mods possiblly a bar or a little more to gain more power , id use an elecronic boost controler .My wife comes from trinidad born in port of spain and brought up in arema not sure on spelling ,when she went last year she saw a zed over there .Ill be coming this in year in april .

go for 14-16psi (if the turbo's will push it safely) and get it set up on the dyno. then you'll be wanting bigger intercoolers and injectors to further. 290@wheels sounds about right on 12psi with a good set up.

i'd be careful running higher boost considering how hot it can get around Trinidad! big front-mount with chilled water injection might be the order of the day! a nice spec there tho.

true. i never thought about the climate. more IC sounds like a VERY good idea.

well my stock side mount IC (stock tommy kaira intercoolers) is as large as the HKS side mounts .....so i reckon they should be fine what you all think ? I think i'll ivest in a water injection kit then ...

Have you got bigger injectors fitted? If not that's really limiting you.

You don't want to be increasing the boost until you do as those turbos put a massive amount more air through than stock T25's.

When I changed them I found that about 1psi boost gave the same pull as about 16psi on stock :o

 

I've got a similar setup but with 555cc injectors and I'm getting 400WHP at 14psi and have never had it mapped.

Should be able to run 18 to 20psi when I do ;)

 

It's a bit cooler here though... :(

yeah there are old Z here in pretty good condition ...Just last week i found a 200ZR for 15000TTD about 1500 UKD ....i went to purchase it but someone beat me to it :mad:
