bohemian rhapsody, recorded in my friends studio not far from me, there was a queen documentary not too long ago where they went back to rockfield studios, saw them there that day, nice guys.

 

Mr blue sky, one of my best friends is the cellist Hugh McDowell from e.l.o he lives a few miles from me, we work on tracks together and he played at my wedding.

 

oasis, one of my other friends at the wedding was studio engineer for them and their albums, went on tour with them as engineer also, was a guest at the wedding also..

 

i used to live in st Paul's bristol, down on frontline ( city road) i used to hang round with roni and smith & mighty when i lived there, i also know 3d and daddyg from massive attack, another of my friends is an engineer in their studios.

 

as for pearl jam, once again one of my friends was their enginer for their albums.

 

 

as for my favorites, i like pretty much anything.. i have to it pays the bills!

My dad shared a drink with Freddie and the gang before they became Queen at Nottingham Trent Uni when he was a student, said he was a nice guy and very down to earth.

 

Always interesting to meet the artists i find. I spent about 40 mins before/after the electric soft parade gig in the carling academy chatting to the Tom and Alex White about general stuff and again when they were playing in Brakes at Carling Academy 2 the beginning of this month.

 

Nobody recognised them walking round the audience drinking at the bar apart from me :D

 

Tom was playing lead guitar for Sparks on jonathan ross's tv show that weekend too.

 

Brakes are awesome live if anyone goes to see them by the way :bow: :bow:

Best rock-n-roll song ever has to be 'sweet little sixteen' by Chuck Berry. It gets my feet tapping and raises the hairs on the back of my neck every time I hear it. Great shame the tune was murdered by the Beach Boys when they used it for 'surfin usa'
