Does anyone know of any garages (or even a Nelson with a good reputation) in Hampshire??

 

I'm in Pompey, so the nearer to there the better (we've got Hilsea Nissan, anyone used them?)

 

Being having major coolant probs last couple of weeks whereby it keeps boiling up during motorway travel and then comes pissing out of the overflow everywhere shortly after leaving motorway, as the latent heat builds up.

 

Tried a few bits mytself, but no joy. Need the car for work, no time to dick around anymore with it myself, so need somewhere to take it ASAP for more investigation.

 

Anyone in my neck of the woods got any suggestions where I can take it??

Hi Smurf, unfortunately not Hants but in Winton, Bournemouth, Dorset is a very well rated Nissan garage called Park garage - not main dealer. Around £30+vat p/h.

 

A few of the guys here have taken there zeds there and always good service unlike some Essex company I could mention. (Joke b4 ppl get the hump)

 

Courtesy car also available and no I don't have shares

I'm in Soton, so I take mine to the main Nissan dealer at the Redbridge causeway for servicing etc. There not cheap, but I wouldn't want some grease monkey in a back street garage tinkering with my zed.

Give Dave at Farlington Motors a try. He has done a lot of work on my Z, (before I had it). I believe he is Nissan trained. all my old invoices seem OK, and the car is pretty sound

Farlington maybe sounds good, not too far.

 

What I'll probably do is let Hilsea Nissan have a look, get their opinion (for what its worth) on whats wrong, make my excuses, take it away and go elsewhere (cheaper) for the work.

 

There's NO way I'm paying £25 for them to get me the part price......
