FAO Si (Pk1) and any other home music gurus: prob with Zoom and Cubase LE

Hi folks, I have a Zoom G2.1u effects module which I've had a lot of use out of. I'd now like to hook it up to a copy of Cubase LE (supplied with it) and Reason to get a few guitar bits down. The unit can be connected via USB so you'd think it would be simple to get the computer to recognise it but being a complete Luddite I can't seem to get it to work. Thanks to Si, I'm running a Chaintech GeForce FX 5200 graphics/audio card. Hope someone can point me in the right direction!

Cheers,

Leigh

Lol! Typical. As soon as I post, I get it to work. Can only hear playback through the ZOOM unit though, not from headphones in the soundcard output...It's not a problem, just seems strange...Hmmmm.

you dont have a soundcard your using the built in sound from the ideq sound chip, make sure under audio settings that the output is set to what ever you want.

also there is usually a controll suite for the fx unit didnt it inntall with the software?

Installed as a generic USB device with no interface (purely the LE software). Found a new ASIO Zoom patch on t'internet, installed it and worked a treat. :D

remember that baby is custom built for you so any probs pick up the phone, thats what the tech support is for!
