Same in our house, if she's got a cold then as its my problem that I cant sleep cos of all her snotting and snoring then I have to go in the spare room. If I've got a cold then that too is my fault and i have to go in the spare room cos she doesnt want to catch it. Something wrong somewhere.

Trouble is, by the time the symptoms of the cold come out, she's been incubating it and contagious for a while already so the chances are you've already caught it...But if you want a few nights peace and quiet without being elbowed in the head while sleeping maybe don't tell her that next time and stick with the seperate room dealio... ;)
