Evening all,

 

Just back from the hospital where my missus has given birth to our second healthy baby boy by caesarian section! :dance: - We've called him Oliver, he weighed 8lb 8.5oz :cool:

 

Off to bed for an early night, utterly knackered, I have obviously blanked last time from my memory :p

 

Also congrats to who I spoke to the other week who doesn't learn either :cool: :cool:

googling for baby shrimp finds a lot of menu-related stuff (not appropriate here) but also the important information that baby shrimp are called zoeae and

The sexes are thought to be separate, and the timing of breeding varies around the country (2). After mating, the female carries the eggs for 3-4 weeks in summer and up to 10 weeks in spring (2). The larvae, known as 'zoeae' are planktonic. If attacked, shrimps try to escape by means of rapid flicks of the tail (3).
