ok guys does anyone have an opinion on the best car chase film???

my personal favourite is the mustang and roadrunner in bullitt followed very closely by gone in 60 secs and fast and furious anyone else???????

Ronin with Bob Denero in it is by far the best and longest car chase I have ever seen,spec the bit going wrong way down motorway,if you havent seen it, its a must.

Ronin is one of my most fave ever films!! boring?! :smash: is up there with HEAT for action films :cool:

i think Ronin is more espionage than action, thats why it doesnt appeal to the wider audience.

How about Spielbergs first movie, "Duel". That whole film was one big car chase! Great film it was too.

 

On a serious note though I think Gone in 60 seconds takes a lot of beating.

Duel is an awesome film - in a class of its own. no fancy effects or anything, just a truck chasing a car. i love the bit where Denis Weaver gets kicked in by the trucker he wrongfully accuses of being 'the driver'
