Does anyone know the easiest way of getting a 9v 200ma regulated power supply from a 12v source in a car?

We use a 9v power supply for PS2`s in cars, hard wires to 12v, i`ll check the amps for you.

Amps can be higher, it won't do any harm.

If lower however it will either blow or the volts will drop too low to be useable ;)

so if I used 1 1or 2 amp supply it wouldn't cause a problem????

Not a problem at all

If you need 200mA and have a supply of 200mA then the power supply will get very hot as your using it to it's maximum capacity. 1 or 2 A supply will do the job and also run cool.
