You should not really go wider than 245 on a 8" but I know you can get away with 255's

Guest Nifft
So if i went for 255 will it 255/35/18 or 255/45/18??I'm running 255 35 18s which means I'll be doing 70.48 mph when indicating 70 mph. I use Wheel and Tyre Bible it covers everything (and more) - there is a tyre size calculator about halfway down
Guest DAZXTT
the rx8 wheel spec says 8j 18x8 and 45 ofset so does it matter if for example i go fo 255/35/18 on the rears,or does it have to be 244/45/18? im so confused.com at the moment!!!What is the widest tyre on an 8j rim? ronflat
You must have 35 profile otherwise you wheels will be too big! I personally would go for 235 35 18 front and 245 35 18 rear
