I was just looking on ebay and skylines are getting cheap as, how do you tell if it is turbo or not.

You see the wife will be driving soon and I would like a skyline for her, it has to be an R33 and non turbo, I saw a couple of 2.0l as well but I don't know what all the letters mean, i:e GTS GTR Type M and all that lot, what about 4x4 can you lot help me out.

Cheers me dears.

As i understand...

GTS - Non turbo (R33 is 2.5 R32 is 2.0 but there is an R32 GT25 which is a 2.5 non turbo)

GTST - Turbocharged (R33 is 2.5 turbo, R32 is 2.0 Turbo)

Both of them are RWD with the exception of the R32 GTST 4 (i think) which is a 4 wheel drive 2.0 Turbo.

GTR - The big one, 2.6 Twin turbocharged 4 wheel drive.

Things like Type M or NUR are basically just special editions, i think they use the same engines as the standard cars.

This is all off the top of my head and im sure there are exceptions but hope this helps.

Good man, that sorts things out a little.

Just hope the wife likes them now so I have an excuse to get one.
