I have a 94 TT Jap spec Auto

MAIN PROBLEM!

When pulling off from a dead stop, the revs drop to about 300 (Car hesitates while doing this) and then revs pick up and car pulls off.

It only does this when warm!! When car is cold I have no problem.

I have checked everything and my mechanic is dead stumped.

Please help

why do you say Water temp Sensor?

Thanks

wish everything was 100%.....there are many possible causes. Vacumn leak, incorrect timing, Dirty throttle valves, TPS , Fuelling fault(such as temp sensor)

I will list what I have checked and ,maybe this will help.

I have run consult but nothing out accept one O2 sensor reading low.

Cleaned throttle bodies, checked TPS, changed Temp sensor from another engine.

I have checked for vacuum leak but nothing and also cleaned all connectors.

Car only hesistates when warmed up.

???

Thanks

are your throttle bodies syncronised properly.there is a screw on the n/s of the shaft which can be adjusted to ensure both throttle bodies open together when you accelerate.the screw can be seen where the linkage is joined from the tps side to the other.worth a look anyway.

I actually played around with one of those screws on the throttle bodies. The Revs jumped up to about 1500 and stayed there but the car didnt hesistate anymore.

Couldnt get the revs to stabilise so opted for lower revs but now still hesitatying when cold.
