Loved it – cold callers really annoy me with their bullshit – they are such a PITA.

 

Wouldn't mind doing something like that to them, but they always seem to call at the most inconvenient moment and I always have to interrupt their "spiel" to politely but firmly tell them, "I have to tell you I am really not interested, thank you and goodbye", before hanging up without further ado.

Sorry geezer, I didn't see it ;)

We had one once and hubbie said ok go ahead, then he put the phone down gently and went and made the dinner the guy was talking to thin air and didn't even realize.

 

Hubbie went back to the phone and said Oh you still there, sorry I forgot about you . Then he hung up.

 

Poor guy went all the way through his splee and the company had to pay for the call and it held them up from ringing some poor other person
