cruise control

My cruise control wont work now for some reason. The on /off switch works but it wont let me set the speed. Not sure if its coincedence or not but i recently pulled the plug for the annoying chime when you go ove rspeed limit. Is this related???

    Also try, lifting the brake pedal with your foot and activating the CC. Do the same with the clutch pedal too.

    Emm, tried the pedals no joy. Will try plugging the chime back in but I think thats a llong shot
