ive been asked to look at a mates computer but thought i would ask here for anyadvice as i dont use itunes.

 

he added a new HDD and moved all the music across to it view explorer, loaded i tunes and no music said ituneslibary.itl cannot be found.

 

I tried pointing itunes to the new music directory (view edit preferences) but still same error.

 

Ideas guys?

try

file . add folder to library. then locate the folder and add away.

 

or

 

file. import.

 

thats all i can think of.

if you change the location of the song from like my documents to desk top - itunes wont find the track... you gotta add them again

C drive, programe files, Itunes - in there

if u want me to screen print each individual folder within itunes for you n email them over let me know.....
