3.8 litre V6 Twin Turbo's tuned by Cosworth! 480bhp!

Can't be bad! So apart from the number of cylinders would a 3.8 v8 have any advanage over a 3.8 v6? Cylinders have to do less work on a v8 maybe?

i dont know. ive always been under the impression that the V6 is the weakest 6-cyl configuration, seeing as 'liners, GTOs and Soups all have a straight 6 and seem to be marginally faster. A V8 however... id guess would be more powerful/efficient/whatever than a V6 but would it be as good as a straight 6?

V8 should be better than a V6 of the same size, more torque, revvier and smoother.

Are Renault owned by G.M? If they are do you think they borrowed the 3.8V6 from holden and tuned it.

I think a V8 has perfect primary and secondary ballance which a V6 doesn't.
