Zed Parts Shipping

I want to order a stack of parts from one of the US suppliers. Does anybody know what I would have to pay in various duties when it all arrives? Is there a simple % of the total cost I need to pay?, and do you pay the shipping company the duties or do you pay someone else.

    roughly 20%. Usually the shipping agent pays the Duty and then Bills you after/

    on car parts with vat its 22% plus any charges the courier adds and you also pay vat on the shipping costs!!
