I got myself an N/A subframe to get rid of the hicas, I just asumed that the diff mounting points would be the same but, as I offered the diff up to mount it, the mounting points on the diff are wider than the subframe.

The front bracket doesn't fit the subframe and the diff fouls, the rear mounting points are wider on the TT as well.

Man i'm p155ed off

I honestly cant imagine what you must be feeling, such a cracking job done on the subframe. What do you reckon is less pain - doing it again on a TT subframe or sourcing a NA diff (if it is compatable with the prop etc)?

I think I need to find out a few things first before making a decission, but who to ask

what a b4stard mate. the pic's look spot on, hope to bend your ear at a mids meet about what you done, as over the witer i want to strip mine down to underseal etc.

hope you get it sorted soon, looking really good

Change your dif to a N/A one the gearing is different so your car should accelerate quicker and the prop should fit ok I believe even if it didnt its only half the prop you need to change;)

Think you'll need the rear prop section as well with an NA Diff. Think the driveshafts are different too....

The way i am thinking now is to go back to a TT subframe and still junk the hicas.

I was thinking of cutting the NA toe arm brackets off an old scrap frame and welding them onto a TT frame so I have the best of both so to speak.

The thing is all mt running gear is like a 2 year old car so I don't want to take the chance of getting a crap diff and driveshafts.
