Just wanted to know if there other people like me who collect DVDs and never watch them :confused:

 

I used to have them displayed in a nice unit in the living room and used to watch one now and again but now the wife has gone minimalistic there in chocolate brown cubes so i cant remember the last time i actually watched one :smash:

 

So it got me thinking whats the point? i have loads that are still in the wrappers LOL so do i sell them or keep them for a rainy day :D

we have got a whole stack that in all honestly we will never watch.

 

they are seperated into catagories tho...

 

1. priority ones...all the classics and cool films

2. comedy and music

3. crap ones which are at the back of cabinet

4. dirty ones which are behind those incase the wifey finds them!

I know! I remember giving BOXES and BOXES of VHS to my sister a few years back, dread to think how much spent :mac1:

Like most of you I have got hundreds and every time I browse through I can never decide what to watch. I have come to the conclusion that it isnt worth buying them now. I just rent them and if they are any good copy them. With the exclusion of box sets and classics that is. I have a fair few of them too. a lot of what i bought are for sale in Choices now at £2.99 each.

Exactly i have that many that now and again when me and the wife decide "i know thets watch a film" we go through them and argue on which one to watch and end up not watching anything LMAO

Life is short, if you have time to watch DVD's then you probably have time to do more important things ...

i have a huge collection also in a big display cabinet, i like to grab an old DVD late at night when all are in bed and just relax and enjoy the film, 'True Romance' 'scarface' and 'carlitos way' are the current favs, i watched Jaws 2 last night and loved it again
