the ultima GTR is possible my favourite car (along with the koenigsegg CCX/R and of course the Z).

then some mad swede had the same thought i did.... what if it had 2 turbo's bolted to it?

I've thought about building one of those after my Z bites the dust, awesome car.

A guy down the road from me had one with a huge V8 in it but he hung himself, should have gone out in style in the Ultima :rofl:

dont think i'd be hanging myself if i had one of those. you can buy them factory fresh these days or build them yourself. i think they're relatively cheap too (about £30k for a self build i think).

but even the full on 680(720 now?)bhp V8 is only about £50k.

considering it holds the world record 0-100-0, etc i think thats a bargain. if i had anywhere that money i'd be in one.

That's exactly what I thought!

I used to drive past and see him working on the huge engine and dream about getting one.

 

I think you can build one for about £25k plus whatever engine you go for.

There's a huge range of engine options they can set the chassis up for so I even thought about putting my spare Z engine in one.
