I put in a claim about a month ago to replace my phone. ok was all sorted, just needed phone.

Problem, they dont make it anymore. so... the problem started.

basicaly I was nice about the whole thing, told the shop what I needed and wasnt worried if it was not new. no joy.

Then the insurance people *****xed teh claim up and put fullfilled. so now i dont have a phone and it says on teh screen i had been given one that wasnt made anymore which they had no stock of or any paperwork to say I had collected it.

1 month later I go back into teh shop to se what the hell was taking so long, had wrote a stinking letter to the director about the attitude of the insurance people and how good the shop guys where.

walked in yesturday and they had a brnd new p990i sony waiting for me. 1 of only 10 in the country lol. get this. they are £800. £800 for a phone. see sometimes it pays to be nice.

I'm waiting for the P990 to go on general release so I can upgrade but it's been delayed about 5 months so far :(

Don't know why they gave you one then LOL

This phone was due out late last year when the specs were well ahead of anything else on the market but it's taken them so long to sort out software problems that it's now already out of date in many ways.

Still fancy one though as I always liked my old P910i as an all in one gadget.

There's a few grey imports at the moment with a dubious warranty but none of the UK networks have any real stock yet :(

Apparently the software still crashes a lot too but I think there's an update out already or due very shortly...
