Can anyone think of a more unreliable car every built?

Would say it's the last thing you need for an 80 mile daily journey, especially during Winter.

ah ! another fine piece of french engineering then new it was to good to be true shall slap ex friend tomorrow at work, so its a lot worse than our beloved zeds then? appreciate the response guys and gals cheers

steer clear bud .. if they run right then uve got a bargain but if its a dog it'll cost more than a Zed to run .. i had a "pocket rocket" years ago ... cambelts and heads are a nitemare

i ran one for 2 years as my daily drive no probs at all other than rust.oh and ran out of fuel once disnt know it had a reserve tank that needs filling before u can start it again walked to garage got 5 litres wouldnt start phoned aa towed me home cos they didnt know either taking it off the truck they pulled my bumper clean off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had one in 1992 It had with BBR KIT on it and rev limiter disconnected

ragged it about for 12 months only thing it did was blow the top off the stock intercooler Neve let me down, even sold it to a mate who had it for 2 years never failed once.

The plot thickens, to be fair the lad has used it as a daily motor for months and has never been late ,anything particular to look out for on them ? cheers

I had one and absolutly loved it :hyper: , but it was forever breaking down.It was 4 years old and used to cost me £100 a month to fix usually the electrics.Loved it to bits but it was my worst and best car rolled in to one  Steer clear :nono:

Its like any other turbo car mate, it its been looked after youll be fine, but if its a high miler thats been ragged then steer clear.

I have owned many Renault turbos and havent had many problems at all.

there pretty quick and really good fun but there unreliable they overheat and its alot of power through a 1.4 engine

Had one for a year, it was only a couple of years old when I got it and the electrics always played up, so much so that Renault put a new wiring loom in, I picked the car up and it caught fire :nono: unreliable but fun would sum it up.
