removing fan clutch

How do you remove the viscous fan clutch i have undone the 4 10mm nuts taken off the alternater belt but still wont come off ?? is it just a matter of tapping it until it comes off ?? all help appreciated

    Its quite common for them to seize on the water pump. Try getting something between it and the pulley, going round moving it further each time. Be carefull though, don't hit the clutch part...
