can anyone here do it? where can i learn it from?? :nana2:

And why would you want to do that mate?

I thought this died off in the 80's???

Ah.... the breakdancing.

Surely one of the coolest things and an art form. I rate the B-boying and the popping and locking as best.

It's all in the footwork. Start with the six step.

Footwork, footwork, footwork, footwork, power move, power move, freeze. Easy!

First you must master the turtle!

Unless you have the ballance, poise, grace and muscle of a gymnast you will find it difficult.

He's pretty impressive, isn't he! He's called Junior - http://www.b-boyjunior.com/

Pineapple Studios in Covent Garden has lessons, just look at their website for more details. There's also Danceworks just off of Oxford St opps of Selfridges, lessons start at 8:30pm to 10pm every Weds. And the actual term is 'breaking' and not 'breakdancing'.

It's very much alive, it's only because it's not in the media which is why you dont notice it. I was at the last Throwdown in Peterborough, loads of breakers around.

He's impressive, but he doesnt have much in footwork. If you've watch alot of his videos and competitions he's done you'll notice he spends most of his time on the ground. Very weak when it comes to footwork which was why he got beaten at last year's Red Bull BC1 even though his set did look better.

WTF are you on about dude..lolol...jeez I must be old.. :)

I love it, can't do it myself but love to watch.

I have been to the UK B-boy championships for the last 3 years in a row.

My favourite is the second night, when they do the team battles. Great fun (as long as you're not as old as Angus LOL).
