I think that there is a subtle difference between a Blazer and a (proper/original) sporting jacket! ;)

they look good quility and for that price you cant go wrong. i fancy the valentino rossi jacket

The Nissan one looks nice. me personally i never buy anything from overseas. been done over on more than one occasion, but luckily on cheap stuff.

yeah i wouldnt normally send money abroad but his feedback suggests he is ok. he has feedback from uk, australia and other places.

i had a fight with a bloke i lived with before about a blazer being a sporting jacket lol

Did you win the fight

The difference is subtle and often the terms sport coat and blazer are used interchangeably. Generally, a blazer is a classic jacket in a solid color most often navy or black. Blazers often have metal buttons resembling military uniforms. In terms of fashionability, the blazer I have described is a classic garment and has been in style as long as I can remember and I expect this trend to continue. Sport jackets can be classic or trendy or dressy or very casual depending on your choice of jacket and how you accessorize it.

Well I'm taking a risk here, but with his feedback I think it should be OK. Not saying what I'm buying, but if it arrives in time I'll be wareing it at Japshow 2 at the end of the month ;)

Dave, could you do me a favour? Would you mind asking him if he does any smaller sizes (as I'm a skinny fecker! :D). Would be quite partial to something Nismo or Jack Daniels flavoured...mmmmmm...Jack Daniels...:D ;)

I bought a made-to-measure suit from an ebay seller in Thailand. It felt like a gamble at the time.

It was about £100.

I provided lots of measurements and chose the material, colour, style (style by sending photos (mainly from early Bond films)).

It turned up and it was spot on - I got married in it. I'd post a photo but I fear the photoshoppers and piss takers!

You don't happen to still have the sellers details do you mate as I'm after a new suit! Friend of mine works for a big accountancy firm in London and every couple of months they have an agent for a tailors in Hong Kong come round and measure up anyone who wanted a new whistle. Apparently you could specify almost anything from the type of thread to the type of buttons and the quality was phenomenal. Was thinking of getting their address but it's always good to check out alternatives :)

This is the seller

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=tailor_made_suits&iid=250024220660&frm=284&ssPageName=VIP:feedback:1:uk

It took 3.5 weeks to arrive. But I was very pleased with it. It was exactly what I'd asked for (based on what Connery wore in Dr No but in a light cream / white)!

I'm an odd size and off-the-peg suits just don't fit - but this one was perfect.

I'm no suit expert though!

It was made on Koh Samui I think!

If you're serious about getting one I can send a picture.

Thanks for that, nice one :) Definately serious about getting one so if you get chance I'd be very interested in seeing a photo (promise I won't use it for nefarious photoshopping ;) )

I have dealt with the guy via ebay, I had a Kawasaki jacket and it turned up promptly and for the money is extremely well made.

OK, mate I'll dig one out and send it - not right now but as soon as I can.
