Hello folks,

I was hoping someone may be able to help point me in the right direction with regards to bring my 300zx to the UK. Currently, its in New Zealand. It is a 1992 with a 1995 jap motor & transmission in it, done roughly about 24000kms. Its fairly standard, cept it don't have any emmission controls. I've done a bit of tuning of the ECU, put some 'nice' turbos in it and wrote myself a new chip for it, but have left it with a friend with only a mines ECU in it so they don't thrash it too much...

What are the likely issues I may face getting it on the road here in the UK? I have access to a very well equipped garage and are not afraid of getting under the hood. I know that I will have to put a speedo, or at least a facard, in with miles/hour. Any other little/big things which might bite me?

Has anyone got any good international car shipping people they have used before.

Many thanks.

nothign at all, for a car this age you only need to get an MOT on it (will fly through emmissions even with the control systems junked and decats in), then you can register it.

You don't need a mph speedo either, that is up to you.

Speek to "Friday" (His name is Leigh) he has contacts for shipping cars into the UK and I think he'd help you and hope he doesn't mind me posting this.

Lol, Don't mind at all Mark ;) :D
