I cant find anyware on this site which tells you the various MPG for the all the Z's. :duffer:

I want to know the MPG of a standard Manual TT zx,

But if someone could list all the types of cars it would be very helpfull. Ex Manual, Auto, City Driving, Low Consumption, High Consumption.

Thanks,

Matt

The 3 ltr twin turbo lump should be a good giveaway :D but I am sure at times we all have given a short sharp answer to a question that gets asked time and time again, the club has a lot of faults but we do try to help were possible.

We need to remember what might be a much over asked question to us might not be to newbies. And what might be clear to us might not be for others. I'm sure I've asked the same sort of questions but I always got a nice and good answear. So those who only want to be rude when these questions are asked should keep their mouths tightly shut for the sake of the club.

Lets all show a few manners guys it don't cost us anything. :D

I think the official is 33mpg for manual and 32mpg for auto for urban.

The official figure was 33mpg for the Auto and 27mpg for the manual.

Having owned both I can assure you the auto is far more frugal than the Manual. Though if you drive at 65 70 ish on the motorway you can see about 33mpg in the manual even with all the mods i've got on my car.

LMAO at this thread.

It's funny how the little things can turn into an argument!

Unfortunately this club only has a handful of members left that will try to help with a techie question, perhaps more should try and get involved in that side then us grumpy old men can keep our gobs shut. ;) . I do try to point out there is a search facility when a new member asks a question, especially if its one thats asked a lot as you can learn a lot more from searching. I also now feel the need to point out that I am not having a go at anyone and just mentioning it in chat to waste time while my MOT is being done, I ran out of nails to chew. :p

I love the way the search engine works, I try it sometimes but if you don't know the thread title it's not much use LOL

You dont need the thread title, if you want to know about MPG, just type that in and it brings up all the threads with that in it, same for misfire when cold, type it in and it brings them up, modern technology, aint it great. :nana2:

Yep I found this and many other threads about MPG...

And it does matter when like me, you're doing 20,000 a year, I'm not wanting a diesel but when a 330 does 28 and an RX7 does 14 etc it is a major consideration.

Well i seem to be getting 9 - 12 mpg since have chipped it to about 350bhp

seems a bit excessive really

I'll get 25mpg at 65 on the cruise control and 18mpg the rest of the time although its bound to drop if you're trashing it :D

definitely! un-fookin-believeable! buy a ****in prius if you're bothered about economy!

the guy was only asking a simple question! :xxx:

Yeah, but the question was asked last September.

Who dragged this one out of the archives :xxx:

There are some members on here that are just Hell bent on starting a War.

Matt,I have owned a rx7 mk1 series three which is about 2.3 ltr and the economy of that car is only slightly better than my 300zx na.
