Well I am chuffed to bits, been following Walker for 10 years now and I watched him win his first WSB race this morning. For the last few laps I was shouting at the TV like a madman, I did think about going to Assen for this race but decided not to because of work commitments, wish I had though, I would have been streaking along the track I was so happy .......

LMAO that makes me feel better knowing i was not the only bloke shouting at the tv pacing the living room and saying i can't watch it, but couldnt turn away.

THE STALKER RULES!! :D:D Well done Chris, he has had way more than his fair share of bad luck in the past, i hope this makes up for a fair bit of that bad luck.

I was there when he was in tears in 2000, and watched him when he raced round Assen in 2002 with a sanitory towel in his helmet because of Bells Palsy and a broken foot (watched his crew carry him onto the bike as he couldnt walk) truely well deserved win from one of the UKs hardest grafters.

I would totally agree!If anyone had a win comin',it was Chris-nice one!

I think us Brits are on a roll of first wins just lately. First was Jenson a few weeks ago, and this weekend it is Chris Walker in the WSB and also Rob Huff in the WTCC round 2 at Brno.

Come on lads! give us something to cheer for again!!

great win ...bit wet out there...

..

didn't know who you were on about until I saw the telly early this morning.

What a race! What a ride! A very well deserved win.
