Jurys out on this one for the moment, looks abit cheap to be an Aston

yeah i pull one apart in the airport that was on show ....it's just bit's off 4/5 other car ..it's not hand made anymore...it's just slaped together by some yank's there is no love in the car anymore ,,just the name it's a sad day

..

my bloke, ex bloke whatever he is these days, his dad has a DB7 and to be honest i do not think that they hold that much of a wow factor to be honest. Imean of course they are very nice and i woulddnt say no but i really do not think they are particularily anythin special as super cars go just my opinion

been driving around a supra for a while now and I like it

But its not the same as a zed and doesn't have the same appeal or looks.

Ummm... tbh all Astons, at least in recent years, are "just bit's off 4/5 other car" (sic). One of my neighbours used to have a DB7: lots of Jag parts, and probably a lot of others besides. Even zed headlights are used in one of the Lambourghini models (forget which one). Doesn't mean it's not a nice car.

who cares what parts are in it, thats a seriously sexy motor.

I agree!

I just don't think that is the best colour for it - silver or gun-metal all the way......

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

deffo a stunner. I love them but I must say I dont like the door mirrors they look like an after thought. The rest tho....Yes please.

I'll happily have an Aston Martin DB9 that I regularly see in Sunningdale very nice thank you sir :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I do like Aston Martins but as said such a shame about all the 'borrowed' bit's in them

not like we own a car that uses parts from other cars :x:

Its still a seriously sexy make and the looks are watered down but its what the majority want or they would not make it ?

I like it

Think you might be right there. Shame, but if I had the money I'd probably think twice before buying an Aston even though I love them.

does any one know the point at witch Aston martin started using parts from different car's i.e. the last year it was British made .....

Still is British made......

.......but was owned by Ford from around 1987-ish. The V8 vantage (old one circa 1990-3) had switches etc from Granada Scorpio. DB7 also has switch gear and door locks from early 90's Fords too.
