Just been on to Goodyear web site and see that the address for them and dunlop is the same, and also have same phone number, could dunlop and goodyear be one and the same. I'm going to see what price's are like now

Actually they are part of Sumitomo Rubber Group of Japan, who trade under the Dunlop, Falken, Goodyear, Sumitomo and Ohtsu brands.

i know that michelin own a buget brand, (kormaron) and also BF Goodrich. didnt think goodyear and dunlop would be the same interesting.

They own what was the Japanese part of Goodyear, not the whole of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
